I, Michelle, am a “retired” Navy wife who has lived in all four corners of the United States and Hawai’i.
Born and raised in San Pedro, California, I relished my melting pot hometown of many languages and cultures.
San Pedro prepared me well for a fascinating life traveling the world, meeting people and laughing my way through ridiculous circumstances.
I love history, music, books, reading, my terrific family, amusing friends, travel opportunities and irony.
“Tell me a story,” has been my question since birth. Many people have obliged and expanded my understanding–of everything!
Feel free to tell me one yourself. 🙂
What’s this website about?
I began writing a blog in 2011 as I prepared to launch my first published work.
My desire was to share stories of “God’s fingerprints in everyday life,” because that’s how I live.
Nothing amuses me more than to recognize what seemed to be a problem actually was God revealing a truth.
My blog has segued into storytelling, posts about writing and traveling, introductions to writer friends, and adventures in my research.
In fall 2017, I launched a biography of Mrs. Oswald Chambers. I also participated as an essayist about My Utmost for His Highest in Utmost Ongoing: Reflections on the Legacy of Oswald Chambers.
(Check out my page about Biddy and Oswald Chambers here for more information).
Beginning in 2018, I’ll be reducing my blog to once a week on Tuesdays. With 750 blog posts in my archives, you’re welcome to search out and read anything else you’d like!
I also write an “Utmost Response” to that day’s reading from My Utmost for His Highest on my Michelle Ule, writer Facebook page. Feel free to read and comment here.
If you’re curious about my writing style–and amazing research serendipities–sign up for my monthly newsletter.
I relish comments, love to chat and adore writing my blog.
Join me!
The stories . . . ah, the stories . . . are a joy to live and write about!
Thanks for reading!
Michelle
